Below is a list of the page layout adjustments that need to be made for each of the Standard Salesforce Objects when using Accounting Seed Financial Suite. 

Account
Add the following buttons:
  • Manage Payment Methods
  • Create Payments
  • Create Statement
The following fields need to be added to the Account page layout. 
 
We recommend creating a section called "General Accounting" and adding the fields below to the section: 
  • Accounting Active
  • Accounting Type
  • Billing Contact
  • Shipping Contact
  • Accounting Variable 1
  • Accounting Variable 2
  • Accounting Variable 3
  • Accounting Variable 4
We recommend creating a section called "Customer Accounting" and adding the fields below to the section: 
  • Billing Terms Name
  • Billing Days Due
  • Billing Discount Days Due
  • Billing Discount %
  • Outstanding Statement Format
  • Activity Statement Format
  • Billing Format 
  • Stripe Customer ID
We recommend creating a section called "Vendor Accounting" and adding the fields below to the section: 
  • 1099 Vendor
  • Taxpayer Identification Number
  • Default 1099 Box
  • Credit Card Vendor
  • Default Expense GL Account
  • Payable Days Due
  • Discount %
  • Discount Days Due
We recommend adding the following related lists to the page layout:
  • Billings
  • Cash Receipts
  • Payables
  • Cash Disbursements
  • Payment Methods
  • Projects
  • Taxes
  • Recurring Billings
  • Recurring Payables

Contact

We recommend creating a section called "Accounting Information" and adding the fields below to the section: 
  • 1099 Vendor
  • Taxpayer Identification Number
  • Default 1099 Box
  • Alternate Payee Name

Opportunity

The following buttons need to be added to the Opportunity page layout:
  • Create Billing
  • Create Recurring Billing
  • Create Project
We recommend adding the following related lists to the page layout:
  • Billings
  • Recurring Billings
  • Projects

Product

The following fields need to be added to the Product page layout:

  • Inventory Product
  • Inventory Type
