Sales Order Fields

Sales Order Name - Autonumber used to identify the individual Sales Order record

Customer - Lookup to the customer Account record

Opportunity - Look up to the specific Opportunity record

Total - Total price of the all the Sales Order Lines

Status - Picklist used to track the status of your Sales Order, this is typically used to mirror a business process

Billing Address fields - Used to support additional billing addresses from that listed on the customer Account record:

  • Billing Street
  • Billing City
  • Billing State
  • Billing Postal Code
  • Billing Country

Shipping Address fields - Used to support additional billing addresses from that listed on the customer Account record:

  • Shipping Street
  • Shipping City
  • Shipping State
  • Shipping Postal Code
  • Shipping Country

Line Count - Number of Sales Order Lines for each Sales Order record, this is typically used for reporting or business process logic, and not shown on the default page layout

Shipment Count - Number of Shipment records for each Sales Order record, this is typically used for reporting or business process logic, and not shown on the default page layout

Sales Order Line Fields

Sales Order Line Name - Autonumber used to identify the individual Sales Order Line record

Sales Order - Lookup to the Sales Order record

Product - Lookup to the specific Product record referenced on the Sales Order Line

Unit Price - Price of the Product referenced on the Sales Order Line

Quantity Ordered - Number of individual units ordered

Total - Price of the individual Sales Order Line, calculated by Unit Price x Quantity Ordered

Quantity Allocated - Number of items allocated from inventory to this Sales Order Line

Quantity Needed - Number of items unallocated for this Sales Order Line, calculated by Quantity Ordered - Quantity Allocated

Quantity Shipped - Number of items shipped for this Sales Order Line

Purchase Order Line - Lookup to the specific Purchase Order Line related to this Sales Order Line

Quantity Ordered Supplier - Number of items ordered from the supplier on the related Purchase Order Line

Quantity Received Supplier - Number of items received from the supplier on the related Purchase Order Line

Manufacturing Order - Lookup to the Manufacturing Work Order (Project) related to this Sales Order Line

Quantity Ordered Manufacturing - Number or items ordered from the Manufacturing Work Order (Project) related to this Sales Order Line

Quantity Manufactured - Number of items built on the Manufacturing Work Order (Project) related to this Sales Order Line

GL Accounting Variables - Lookups to the specific GL Account Variables to track business segments:

  • GL Account Variable 1
  • GL Account Variable 2
  • GL Account Variable 3
  • GL Account Variable 4

Project - Lookup to the specific Project this Sales Order Line is related to

Project Task - Lookup to the specific Project Task this Sales Order Line is related to

Comment - Text field for additional information

Opportunity Product ID - Salesforce record ID of the Opportunity Product record that generated this Sales Order Line, this is not displayed on the page layout, and is typically used in reporting.
